Using a blade scraper (or glass scraper) clean the glass completely to remove any foreign bodies stuck to the glass as these will show up under the film if left. Even if you can't see any dirt on the glass do this anyway as sometimes bits of dirt you can't see can show up when the film is installed which will spoil the installation. |

Once again spray the slip solution you made earlier onto the glass leaving a fine spray all of the window (this is to allow your squeegee to move freely over the glass when cleaning). |

Using a window cleaning squeegee like the one in the picture (found in our professional installation kit or the hard card squeegee found in the budget installation kit clean the window. Start at the top and work the squeegee from left to right (angle the squeegee so the top is further forward than the bottom, as in the picture, this will make sure any excess water will drop below the squeegee rather than on top, which could contaminate the glass). Overlap each stroke to make sure no dirt is left on the glass. |

Dry the edges of the window with a lint free cloth or kitchen towel. Make sure that the cloth is clean and doesn't leave bits left on the glass when you wipe. By drying around the edges thoroughly we make sure that no contaminated water runs back onto the glass. |
