Why is Coolkote better alternative to conservatory blinds
Coolkote is much more superior to conservatory blinds and that is why coating your conservatory roof with Coolkote window film is a better alternative to blinds. Firstly, Coolkote window film is applied directly to the polycarbonate (or glass) meaning it is stopping the heat before it gets into the conservatory, blinds on the other hand build up a layer of heat between the roof and the conservatory blind, the blinds heat up and radiate the heat back into the conservatory. In 99% of cases having the roof tinted with our solar control conservatory roof window film will be sufficient heat & glare reduction. However there is the option to have a natural non reflective window film, a reflective window film or the best option is our specialty solar control film - Coolclear installed to the side windows of your conservatory. This is helpful for conservatories with large expanses of glass to the side of the conservatory, where the sun can be a problem through the side windows. We can install a conservatory window film to these windows helping to make the conservatory even cooler in the summer. The window films that we fit to the side windows on your conservatory are usually a light natural tint that's very hard to notice but we can also fit darker films, stopping even more of the suns heat and glare.
